@WJHHunterston Wow, it must be an awesome job! I find this mind-blowing. I’m 16 and i’ve been wanting to do this type of work since i first started sketching when i was 6. Where did you go to study? Any advice?

  7. WJHHunterston says:

I worked on around 7 different cars, all from 3/8 scale to full size: interior, exterior, steering wheels and mirrors. Remember it like yesterday…
Now I get to watch someone else do it here…good lesson.

In this video we´re using Kolb SuperClay. Kolb is one of only a few producers of styling clay worldwide, produces in Germany for customers all over the world and has a subsidiary in Michigan/USA. SuperClay is a traditional styling clay which means it contains sulfur. Our other clay is called TecClay: it is sulfur-free and light-weight. For more info visit our website.

300-500 pounds of clay at least but this could be reduced depending on your methods, they are using a the best clay which can cost (not bulk price) about 8 dollers a pound.

They use a non sulphar based oil clay like chavant, dn’t consider wet clay, unless you know what your doing.

  15. cabblers says:
